Responsibility for Your Content.
You are solely responsible for your content, and once posted on Mctv, it cannot always be retracted. You assume all risks associated with your content, including anyone’s reliance on its quality, accuracy, or reliability, and any risks associated with personal information you disclose. You represent that you own, or have the necessary permissions to use and authorize the use of, your content as described herein. You may not imply that your content is in any way sponsored or endorsed by Mctv.
You may expose yourself to liability if, for example, your content contains material that is false, intentionally misleading, or defamatory; violates any third-party right, including any copyright, trademark, service mark, patent, trade secret, moral right, right of privacy, right of publicity, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right; contains unlawful material, including illegal hate speech or pornography; exploits or otherwise harms minors; violates or advocates the violation of any law or regulation; or violates these Terms.
Our Right to Use Your Content. We may use your content in a variety of ways, including publicly displaying it, reformatting it, incorporating it into advertisements and other works, creating derivative works from it, promoting it, distributing it, and allowing others to do the same in connection with their own websites and media platforms (“Other Media”). As such, you hereby grant us a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, assignable, sublicensable, and transferable right to use your content for any purpose. Please note that you also irrevocably grant the users of the Service and any Other Media the right to access your content in connection with their use of the Service and any Other Media. Finally, you irrevocably waive—and cause to be waived—any claims or assertions of moral rights or attribution rights regarding your content against Mctv and its users. By “Use,” we mean the use, copying, public transmission and display, reproduction, distribution, modification, translation, removal, analysis, commercialization, and creation of your content.
As between you and Mctv, you own your content. We own the Mctv Content, which includes (but is not limited to) the visual interfaces, interactive features, graphics, design, compilation (including our selection, coordination, aggregation, and arrangement of User Content and other Service Content), computer code, products, software, aggregate star ratings, and all other elements and components of the Service—excluding your content, User Content, and third-party content. We also own the copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade secrets, and other intellectual and proprietary rights worldwide associated with the Mctv Content and the Service, which are protected by copyright, trade dress, patent, trademark, and trade secret laws, as well as all other applicable intellectual and proprietary rights and laws. As such, you may not sell, license, copy, publish, modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works or adaptations of, publicly display, or in any way use or exploit any portion of the Mctv Content, in whole or in part, unless expressly authorized to do so. Except as expressly and unequivocally provided herein by us, we grant you no express or implied rights, and all rights to the Service and the Mctv Content are reserved by us.
Mctv and its licensors may publicly display advertisements, paid content, and other information adjacent to or in connection with your content. You are not entitled to receive any compensation for such advertisements. The methods, modes, and extent of such advertising are subject to change without specific notice to you.
User Content (including any content that may be created by users engaged or contracted by Mctv) does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Mctv. Except as required by law, we have no obligation to retain copies of your content or to provide them to you, and we do not guarantee any confidentiality regarding your content. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and for any reason or no reason at all, to remove, screen, edit, or reinstate User Content without notice to you. Under Mctv’s Verified License Program, Mctv does not attempt to verify any local licenses that a business or its representatives may hold; customers should inquire directly with the business regarding such licenses. Businesses whose licenses have been verified by Mctv will display a “Verified License” badge on their Mctv business page.
Additional Terms. Your use of the Services is subject to any and all additional terms, policies, rules, or guidelines that we may post or link to from the Services (“Additional Terms”). All such Additional Terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms.
